Our universal legacy is the recognition that our perception is easily flawed by bias. It took hundreds of thousands of years, but ultimately humankind became the one species who figured out that by applying a methodology designed to defeat bias we can attain knowledge that frees and empowers us – a breakthrough transcending ethnicity, race, religion, nationalism, and almost every other category by which humans identify.
The result of this shared human legacy has been so potent and influential that it completely transformed our human experience and produced a rapidity of change to which we are barely able to adjust.
